Hey this is me!

Hello to anyone who may be reading this! My name is Kamari McElroy. I really don't know what I am supposed to write about myself. I guess I will just give a brief introduction.
I am a new sophomore at Whitney Young. For three years I attended Lindblom Math and Science Academy. So, making the adjustment from Lindblom to Whitney Young has been a challenge for me! I've been swimming since I was about 3 years old. I started swimming competitively when I was 8 years old. Now I am on the swim team here at WY.
This summer I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Beijing,China and study for three weeks. Everyone always asks me do I speak Chinese. Yes, I do speak Chinese. I have been studying Chinese for 4 years now and honestly, traveling to China changed my whole out look on life.
I hope to really do well in this class and I was happy to hear that we would be writing a lot of papers this year. I really love to write and express myself.
